The ArtixScan 1100 gives you professional quality scanned images. This revolutionary 36-bit color flatbed scanner has two scanning beds -- one for photos and one for film -- and uses Microtek's own patented Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology (E.D.I.T.) for incredibly sharp transparency scanning. With E.D.I.T., there is no glass between the scanning lens, film, or light source, eliminating distortion or Newton rings which can occur with traditional transparency adapters. An 8000-element CCD ensures high-resolution clarity at an optical resolution of 1,000 x 2,000 dpi.

SnapTrans (TM) templates Template trays are provided for scanning 35mm, 2-1/4", or 4" x 6" film. A glass plate allows for scanning 8" x 10" or odd-size transparencies
